About Greg Massey :


Greg Massey, a native of Durant, OK, is the CEO of First United Bank & Trust Company, a $13.5 billion financial services organization operating in 63 communities throughout Oklahoma and Texas. First United delivers to over 300,000 customers through a network of community banks, mortgage offices, insurance agencies and wealth management locations.


First United is a purpose based community bank organization that inspires and empowers others to spend life wisely. First United’s strategy consists of creating a phenomenal customer and employee experience by empowering our people to serve others. The integration of each business unit has allowed First United to grow and expand with consistency and high quality customers and employees.


Greg serves as a Board Member of the Conscious Capitalism organization, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, the Oklahoma State Chamber of Commerce, the OSU Foundation, and Imagine Durant. He is also an active member of the YPO Gold and of Victory Life Church.


In addition to his current service, Greg has also served on the Board of Regents for OSU/A&M Colleges, Board of the OSU Alumni Association, Treasurer of Gamma Delta Chapter Sigma Chi Housing Corp., Board of the Oklahoma Bankers Association, Board Member of Leadership Oklahoma, REI of Oklahoma and Chairman of the Durant Industrial Authority.


In 2008, Ernst & Young named Greg their Southwest Region Entrepreneur of the Year, Oklahoma State University has recognized him as a Distinguished Alumni and the Spears School of Business recognized him as Top 100 Graduate and inducted him into the Business School Hall of Fame. In 2022 Greg was inducted into the OSU hall of fame.


Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Oklahoma State University (1987) and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking (1993). Greg and his wife, Kay, make their home in Durant and have three children, Blake, Brooke and husband Nathaniel, and Corbin.
